By investing into a secondary aluminum casthouse, Altek Metal has taken a determined step towards a circular economy and sustainable production. With an annual capacity of 50,000 tons, we produce alloyed aluminium slabs and machined aluminum billets for industrial uses.

Our slabs are cast inhouse from clean industrial scrap and are primarily used for producing cast and precision milled cast tooling plates. By switching to circular production, our brands Aludur and Aludur Plus’s carboon footprint has been reduced by 50% since 2021. With our cast billet production, we are able to produce a wide variety of alloys ranging from 1xxx to 7xxx. Our diameters begin at 5’’ and continue up to 32’’. Please visit our billet web page for details regarding our billet production capability.
